Fortran Compiler
To use the Adaptation routine capability of the COMPACT programs, you need a Fortran compiler. The PC versions of COMPACT are based on the Compaq Visual Fortran compiler version 5.0
or later. For details of the compiler and license fees, please contact Compaq.
Licensing Options
For the COMPACT programs, you can purchase annual or perpetual
licenses. In an annual license, the license fee entitles you to use the program and receive technical support and updates for a one-year period. With the perpetual license, you can use the
program for an unlimited period and receive technical support for the first three months. You may continue to get technical support beyond the first three months and also receive updates by
paying a yearly support fee.
