This layout consists of two CRAC units situated at the ends of two rows of perforated tiles. Many data centers utilize this basic
hot aisle-cold aisle arrangement for server racks.
The following figure shows a color plot of the distribution of the airflow rates. Because of the large air velocities under the
raised floor, there is a significant maldistribution of the flow. The flow rates are lowest near the CRAC units and largest in the middle of the cold aisle.
